Why Barr’s Secret Police Wear Masks

The military gear, helmets and facemasks of the American Schutzstaffel are not there to protect these thugs from harm, but to prevent identification. There are many reasons for this:

  1. They can’t be doxxed.
  2. They can’t be prosecuted. These first two points protect them.
  3. It’s not clear who they’re working for. This protects their bosses.
  4. They present themselves as a terrifying, faceless, inhuman monolithic force. This inspires terror. They are a terrorist organization.
  5. Their individual identity — and even their humanity — has been stolen, even from them. This allows them to act as monsters.

That last point is particularly important. They are being given permission to act anonymously and without restraint. They’re being told no one can hold them accountable for any atrocities they commit.

But more than that — they’re being told they’re no longer human.

Humans do not treat other humans as objects. Humans cannot beat and fire on innocents.

These former men are now mere tools of state-sponsored terrorism. Tools have no conscience. Tools have no judgement, no moral or ethical codes. They’re not only free to commit brutality, they are now incapable of doing otherwise, unable to identify illegal orders as illegal.

Use of chemical weapons is a war crime. Abducting civilians who have broken no law is a Constitutional violation. So is disrupting peaceful protest. These are illegal orders, and America’s soldiers and police are required to disobey illegal orders. These shock troops don’t do that, because they no longer have the power to distinguish legal from illegal, right from wrong, moral from profane.

This is the ideal enforcement mechanism of a fascist state.

Its actors are no longer humans, but mere hammers in the hands of the Dear Leader.

In the US, “AG” used to stand for Attorney General.

Reichsführer Barr is building the American Gestapo.

“The mass of men serve the state thus, not as men mainly, but as machines, with their bodies. They are the standing army, and the militia, jailers, constables, posse comitatus, etc. In most cases there is no free exercise whatever of the judgement or of the moral sense; but they put themselves on a level with wood and earth and stones; and wooden men can perhaps be manufactured that will serve the purpose as well. Such command no more respect than men of straw or a lump of dirt. They have the same sort of worth only as horses and dogs. Yet such as these even are commonly esteemed good citizens. Others — as most legislators, politicians, lawyers, ministers, and office-holders — serve the state chiefly with their heads; and, as they rarely make any moral distinctions, they are as likely to serve the devil, without intending it, as God.”
